The National Geomatic / Geoinformatic Students Innovation Competition (NGGSIC) program is an annual competition organized by the Royal Institution of Surveyors Malaysia (RISM) with Public Universities and Polytechnics nationwide. The first program was held at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) in 2012 and subsequently by Polytechnic Ungku Omar (PUO), Ipoh in 2013, Politeknik Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah (POLISAS), Kuantan in 2014, Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM), Shah Alam in 2015 and NGGSIC-Online submission in 2016.
